WHAT IS EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE?
Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to perceive, control, and evaluate emotions. Some researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learned and strengthened, while others claim it's an inborn characteristic.
This course gets right to the heart of Emotional Intelligence, examines and explains its importance and provides powerful tools and strategies for improving Emotional Intelligence in yourself and your children.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Course Objective
You will learn, how do WE develop emotional intelligence and growth mindsets and why is this important? This course targets resilience, self-esteem, positive mindset, mindfulness, improving social skills, emotional literacy, confidence, anger management, problem-solving, goal setting and much more!
Participants are taken through the research into this area and then led through practical life-skills applications to develop their own EQ.
This course draws heavily from Daniel Goleman’s research along with Stephen and Sean Covey,
Carol Dweck, the Virtues Project and our own research in Australia.

MEET YOUR TRAINER
Victoria Carlton, is the director of The International Centre for Excellence (ICE), and extensively uses Jolly Phonics to help West Australian children improve and succeed at literacy skills. She frequently travels to the UK to meet the authors and publisher of Jolly Phonics and to check on current research in this area. She is one of the longest serving Jolly Phonics (UK) accredited trainer in the world and conducted her training at September 21 which is also one of the longest serving Jolly Learning Training centre in the world, established since 1996.
She developed and conducted her own programmes which are used with great success at her own centre in Australia and now in her licensed centre in Singapore.
